Welcome to AshleyRose.ai

I never wanted to be an influencer. Here is what changed, why I'm building in public, and what you'll find here.

A lot of people want to be an influencer or a content producer. I never did. I heard multiple speakers talk about the importance of a personal brand, and a couple of years ago at EWF (Executive Women’s Forum) there was another one of those talks. I had the same feeling I always had. Building my brand was a “have to” I was doing to support my company’s growth. I was going to put content out there about Living Security and my expertise as a woman cyber founder, and sprinkle in some personal things to show I’m real and to connect. To be honest, I outsourced most of it. It wasn’t something I was excited to give my time to, with so many other important things to do.

But when I look inward, and I’m honest with myself, here’s the real reason. I didn’t want to be exposed. I value my family’s privacy. I was also always afraid of the judgment that would inevitably come if I got too deep or too vulnerable. I still am.

I didn’t want to be exposed.

So what’s changed?

With AI, the playing field was leveled. At least for a short moment. Everyone was figuring this out. If you could find the time to really dig in, the learning curve acceleration was ginormous. It takes curiosity, not being afraid to fail, and pushing through a lot of setbacks and hurdles to hopefully get to the other side. Sometimes you don’t, and you just start over. I’m good at all of those things. I had to be to become a founder. My history and personal life experiences built that resilience, and genetics gave me a personality of obsession and relentless pursuit. My product background, alongside my perfectionism, has me constantly looking for problems to solve. My husband and kids hate it, but it’s great for a founder.

So personality, life experience, my developed expertise and AI became the perfect storm. The frustration of feeling stuck in a lot of areas, velocity especially, was the spark I needed to unleash my journey into vibe coding, agents, agentic loops and AI-native company building.

The frustration of feeling stuck in a lot of areas, velocity especially, was the spark I needed to unleash my journey into vibe coding, agents, agentic loops and AI-native company building.

It hasn’t been a consistent journey. As you will see, there were moments of inspiration followed by stalls and getting busy with other priorities. Recently I was thrown into another perfect storm, and frustration once again unlocked a desire in me to problem solve and build. After weeks of slowly replacing some tech my team was (not) using to run company priorities and metrics, I went on a vibe coding binge for a few weeks and built what’s now called the Living Security OS (LSOS).

Here’s what I’m building toward. LSOS is designed for every team to run on. Every team runs on the same loop: Connect, Prioritize, Act, Prove. Agents own the queue and people review and decide. My entire team became builders, and the next step is driving that adoption across teams outside of engineering, running at high speed in an autonomous loop.

I’ve led Living Security through a transformation four times before. This is the fifth, and I’m leading my entire team to become AI-native. I am my best leader self when I’m leading through a transformation. That is the whole point of this site. It’s where I’m rebuilding the company, and how I lead it, in the open. The chapters tell the story from the beginning, starting with a delayed flight on September 25, 2025. The release notes track what we build, what we retire and what breaks. Every number has a source.

I am my best leader self when I’m leading through a transformation.

Back to where I started: my brand. My investors, advisors, EO forum and others asked me to share what I’m doing and how. I realized I have developed a really unique set of experiences and skills that others want to learn from. I don’t have a ton of time to speak and share right now, so building in public is a great way for me to tell my story and share what I’m learning. It’s not easy, and I’m still in the middle of it. I’m going to share as much as I can about the ups, downs and challenges without disclosing confidential company information.

For me, this is also one of the unique opportunities I have to leave a history of a high-growth time in my personal and professional life. If you follow along, you’ll see my family is in a unique time too. We’re running four businesses and projects, five if you count this one, with a daughter in college and two at home. Our lives are full. The only way we could be successful is by leveraging AI throughout our personal and business lives.

So, welcome to AshleyRose.ai. I’m not a bot. I’m a real human. I speak into my phone while I’m driving, and I occasionally pull out my laptop with FSD going. If I’m on my phone during a volleyball match, I’m probably running 10 to 20 coding agents. If I’m talking to you about something at an event, I’m probably holding myself back from telling you about the latest thing I built or the use case we took over with our new product. I don’t like small talk, because I’d rather be with my kids, my husband or my close friends, going deep over a bottle of wine, or on my computer.

So for all of you workaholics out there, I’m not going to be a good influence. For me this is a passion, and to end on the largest cringe: if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. I genuinely love this.

AR, Ashley Rose
